- Description
- We are a small congregation that is ethnically diverse and very liturgical in our worship. We sing well and enjoy using the full range of music available to us. The person who fills this position will play on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month as well as special evening services of the liturgical year, playing our services that are rooted in "Evangelical Lutheran Worship". This adds up to 30-35 services a year.
Alternate Sundays are played by our pianist. It would be helpful if there is flexibility to fill in for each other when absences are necessary
This person must have professional training and experience with liturgical worship, preferably Lutheran, and enjoy leading worship. Even if we cannot pay a lot of money, we are greatly appreciative of our musicians and value their gifts. Our pastor has some musical skill and enjoys working with the musicians. You will find this community to be encouraging and open to you and your particular gifts.
Our starting date is flexible, depending on the right candidate's needs and availability.
