ALCM has a variety of membership categories tailored to specific situations. All memberships (excluding library subscriptions) are voting memberships.

Voting membership. Main membership category. |
V2 |
Second voting member must reside at the same address as
the first voting member. Second member has vote but does not receive
separate mailings or copies of publications. |
CMT |
Clergy-Musician Team. Pastor and musician serving the same congregation. |
S |
Student membership. Must be a full-time student. |
V65 |
Voting member 65 or over or disabled. |
V65/2 |
Second voting member over 65 residing at the same address. Second member has vote but does not receive separate mailings or copies of publications. |
LM |
Lifetime membership. A one-time donation of $1,500 ($500 for those 65 and over). |
I |
Institutional membership. For churches, publishers or companies whose business involves worship and music. Receives one copy of all mailings, member discounts for conferences, and has one vote. |
LS |
Library subscription to CrossAccent. For public and academic libraries only. Three issues annually. |
