Campus Housing

NOTE: The last day to add or make changes to campus (dorm) housing is noon on Tuesday, July 5.

Campus housing is available in the air-conditioned Beacon Hall, the newest residence hall on the VU campus. Beacon Hall is centrally located (#28 on the Campus Map) and within walking distance of the Harre Union and the Chapel of the Resurrection. Free parking is available for those attending the conference.

Individual rooms are grouped in suites of 2, 3, or 4 rooms, no more than 2 bedrooms per 1 bathroom. Those wishing to share a suite with other individuals should indicate it at the time of registration.

Each room will have a bed, desk, drawers, and a MicroFridge. Rooms include the following linens for the entire stay: 2 sheets (unfitted top and bottom), 1 pillowcase, 1 light blanket, 1 towel and 1 wash cloth. Good news: we have been informed by the university that they will be supplying pillows! Note that on-campus rooms are not stocked or serviced like a hotel room. Things like garbage cans, toiletry items, and daily service are not provided. Several hotel options are listed below if you prefer additional amenities.

Each night of on-campus housing includes breakfast in Founders Hall, including purchased extra nights.

Valparaiso University is a tobacco free campus. Smoking is prohibited in all areas. No matter the age of the attendee, alcohol is not allowed in campus overnight accommodations.
