10:30 am         Choral Reading Session – Led by Dr. Wyant Morton, Prof. of Choral Music, California Lutheran University, Accompanist, Dr. Jay Brunot, Salem Lutheran Church
Easy but effective 2 or 3 part choir music
Music suggested by working choir directors in the LA area as curated by Dr. Wyant Morton. A choral packet will be available to all who register by April 14.

12:00 noon      Lunch –  Catered at Emmanuel (included with registration)

1:00 pm           How to effectively accompany non-traditional congregational song
Gospel music – Mark Coates, musician, Ascension, Los Angeles
Latin music – Ana Nieva, musician, Iglesia Luterana Pueblo de Dios, Compton
Contemporary (CCM) music – Mark Longfield, musician, Emmanuel, North Hollywood
African drumming – Paul Angers, world music percussionist

2:45 pm           Handbell Reading Session – Led by Alex Guebert, director, LA Bronze
2 or 3 octaves music suitable for use in church
