PCoB Music Ministries is pleased to announce that Re-Creation will perform in Concert at Palmyra Church of the Brethren, 45 N. Chestnut St., Palmyra, PA on Sunday August 26th at 7pm.
Re-Creation is a group of dynamic young people who present both religious and family-oriented music. The group typically consists of eight singers and one or two technicians. Founded in 1976 to provide entertainment programming for Veterans Affairs Medical Centers in the United States, Re-Creation has also appeared in churches of all denominations, at some of the nation’s most prestigious fairs and festivals, at local, regional, state and national corporation banquets and conventions, and at major resort areas. Civic clubs, fraternal groups, schools, and public and private organizations now keep Re-Creation booked for more than 300 concerts each year in all 50 states.
The sacred program is designed as a worship service and features both traditional and contemporary styles, sing-a-long hymns and children’s songs, dramatic works and original music. This year’s program, “Classic: The Worship Suite” is a live worship experience unlike any other! Dynamic vocal blend combined with a lively, yet sensitive state- of-the-art sound…Tasteful, appropriate presentation…Light staging / Fun elements…Congregational participation…Biblically referenced songs!
The public is invited to attend the concert. There is no admission charge, but a free-will offering will be received.
