Use the parking lot off of Carson. Go up the steps and follow the ALCM signs. This event is being co-sponsored by the Los Angeles Chapter of the AGO.


Join us as we explore leadership skills and strategies that help strengthen and inspire the singing voice of our congregations. We’ll worship to begin the day together, then experience a rich variety of repertoire (from classic hymnody to Global Song), noticing how practices of modeling and invitation create space for holistic learning and engagement.

Session III: Integration – Worship: Where Theology and Practice Meet

At 3:00 First Lutheran Church will be presenting a concert on its series, Classical Crossroads. The concert features mezzo-soprano Michelle Rice and soprano Camila Lima. The concert is free.


Paul Vasile is a church musician, consultant, and composer committed to strengthening and renewing faith communities through music. As the Executive Director of Music that Makes Community, he provides support and resources to an international network of leaders committed to practices of oral tradition singing, grounded in a theology of welcome and generosity. Additionally, he serves as Director of Music at Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, where he directs the Seminary Choir, collaborates with faculty and student worship leaders, and serves as a resource to the wider faith community.
