At 4 PM on Sunday, March 6, Music, Gettysburg! will welcome one of our favorite performers, Wayne L. Wold, on the organ and harpsichord of the Gettysburg chapel of United Lutheran Seminary. Wayne, and acclaimed recitalist and prolific composer, is retired organ professor at Hood College and former organist and choir director at Camp David. He’ll perform works by Bach, Mendelssohn, Sweelinck and others, including several of his own hymn preludes.
The concert is free and open to everyone. In keeping with the requirements of the United Lutheran Seminary, audience members must be masked.
In other news, the performance by the Central Bucks West choir, scheduled for March 13, has been postponed until Sunday, May 15.
