We give thanks for the life of Paul Bouman (August 26, 1918 – April 28, 2019). In 2003 Paul was made an Honorary Lifetime Member of ALCM (now called Faithful Servant) and awarded with a certificate that read:
“In thanksgiving to God for your proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ through music and your ministry of calling forth the song of God’s people; in recognition of your faithful stewardship of gifts in composition, teaching and performance, your congenial collegiality and your legacy of exception work with children’s choirs, we do hereby proclaim you Honorary Lifetime Member.” (July 3, 2003)
The funeral will be at Grace Lutheran Church, River Forest, IL on Saturday, May 4, at 11a.m. The service will be followed by a reception in Fellowship Hall.
There is visitation with the family on Friday, May 3, 3-8pm, at Drechsler, Brown & Williams, 203 South Marion Street, Oak Park. There will also be visitation at Grace on Saturday, May 4, before the service, 9:30-10:30am.
