National Conferences

Conferences offer a unique opportunity for participants to learn from fellow musicians, clergy, and scholars from around the country, to share ideas, to be inspired, and to catch up with old friends and make new ones. These experiences are then brought back to individual congregations, thereby strengthening the ministry of music in the Lutheran Church. Every two years in odd-numbered years the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians hosts a national biennial conference. In even-numbered years, multiple regional conferences and one-day events are held in different areas of the United States.

The 2023 biennial conference (postponed from 2021 due to COVID-19) will be held in Philadelphia, PA.
