Although it was expected, it was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Peter Perella on Monday, February 24th. The following prayer was prayed at the ALCM board meeting in January:
“Loving God, your heart overflows with compassion for your whole creation. We lift before you our brother Peter as he lives with his illness, asking for your peace and strength to uphold him. Encourage, comfort, and strengthen Katie, Libby, Cici, and Ike, as they walk beside Peter. Strengthen them all for the days ahead; fill them with courage. Grant to them all the peace that passes understanding, at all times and in every way; through Christ our peace. Amen.”
