Please keep in your prayers the family and friends of ALCM member Dale Hesse. Dale’s wife Janet shared the following with Paul Otte:
“Dale entered into his heavenly home, early on Saturday morning after a very extended illness. Back in March of this year, he was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma that had affected his liver and bone marrow. He was anemic and on the verge of liver failure. But he started chemo, was able to complete four rounds, and started his comeback from that. He was getting stronger and had been responding positively to the chemo. But by the middle of May he went downhill mentally and physically. After taking him to the hospital on May 29, we found out after many different tests that he had contracted cryptococcal meningitis. This was due to his immunity being suppressed from the chemo. He was responding to treatment and therapy, but developed focal seizures, UTI’s, blood clots in both legs, and had some small strokes. He did not come home from the hospital until September 7, and was set to begin home health therapy, but he was too weak so he was put on hospice for this past week.” You can view the obituary here.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory!
