Dr. John Allen Ferguson (b. January 27, 1941), Emeritus Professor of Organ and Church music at St. Olaf College, died Sunday, January 5, 2025 in Northfield, Minnesota. “Ferg”, as he was known by many, was a beloved teacher, organist, church musician, conductor, and composer known for his compositions and hymn festivals.
