Lu Anne (Whitcher) Knowles passed away October 4. She was a loving wife and mother, and a faithful servant of our Lord throughout her life, serving as music minister at Peace Lutheran Church for almost 30 years.
Lu Anne is preceded in death by husband, Phil Knowles, father and mother, Lewis and Thelma Whitcher; and sister, Janet Day.
She loved her family: children, son Mark (Susan), daughter Beth, and son Rev. Bill (Kathryn) Lowrey; grandchildren Nathan (Ashley) Craig, Thomas, Josiah (Yanting), and Aaron Lowrey; brothers David Whitcher and Bill (Chris) Whitcher.
A memorial service was held at Peace Lutheran Church on Saturday, October 22 at 11:00am.
