With sadness we announce the death of Margaret Harms on Tuesday, March 6. Margaret was the beloved wife of Al Harms, a loving mother of four, and long time member of Hope Lutheran Church in Calgary. She was an accomplished choir director and organist, and was active for many years in the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians. A Companion of the Worship Arts of the ELCIC, she made great contributions to the worship life of her home congregation, synod, and national church.
Margaret will be missed by all who knew and loved her. We pray for her family as they grieve their loss.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday, March 27 at 10:00 am at Hope Lutheran Church, Calgary.
“Lord, now you let your servant go in peace for my eyes have seen your salvation” (Luke 2:29).
Rest eternal grant her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
