Many of you know that Kari and Steve Files suffered a damaging housefire on Monday, March 1. Fortunately they and their dogs made it out safely, for which we are truly grateful. But there is considerable damage to the interior of the home and it will be months before it is inhabitable again. While we will not yet plan an in-person benefit due to Covid, Bethany Lutheran is serving as the place to send any financial donations that you may wish to provide as they begin the process of recouping their losses. This will tide them over for immediate needs, as well as help with areas that insurance may not cover. Kari and Steve are deeply grateful for all of your love and concern and support and prayers that have been shown them during this time.
