On April 20, 2024 Ned Perwo was ordained as a Deacon (Minister of Word & Service) in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). He is called to serve at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Manasquan, NJ, where he will continue to lead the Music Ministry and Youth & Family Ministry. Mr. Perwo graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2002 with a B.M. in Music Education. He earned a Master of Arts in Church Music from Capital University/Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, OH. He completed additional theological studies at United Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia. In addition to his work within the ELCA, Mr. Perwo is the adjunct professor of low brass at Ocean County College in Toms River, NJ and directs “The Island Singers”, a multi-generational community choir based in Ocean County, NJ.
