Director of Music Ministry

Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Selecting music for choir and congregational singing for the traditional and contemporary services in conjunction with Pastors and organists.
• Leading and directing Adult Praise Team.
• Communicate with the church office for the completion of the weekly services.
• Working with and assisting with the sound and visual equipment and staying current with technology trends.
• Working with the Elders and Pastor to assess and evaluate the quality of the worship services and making adjustments as needed.
• Assisting at weddings, funerals and special services as requested.
• Staying current with new worship music as well as a knowledge of traditional worship music.
• Providing leadership and assistance for special church events as required.
• Maintenance of musical instruments and equipment.
• Organize and supervise the recruitment of volunteers into the music ministry.
• Assisting in CCLI reporting and licensing requirements.
• Assist with weekly chapel for students.
