An email update from Jayne on October 27, 2023:
I’ve had surgery and completed six rounds of chemotherapy, that is intravenous infusions, and a CAT scan showed no remaining signs of the peritoneal cancer. But my doctor has prescribed two years of oral chemo (pills taken by mouth) to lower the risk of the cancer returning.
I am grateful for the outpouring of prayers from the Lutheran community and I give glory to God for divine presence along my journey and the gift of healing. Only God knows my future.
