Getting There

by Air

There is direct service from Philadelphia International Airport to Center City (what the locals call downtown) on Regional Rail’s airport line. The train stops at all airport terminals and runs every 30 minutes on weekdays and every 60 minutes on weekends and holidays (including July 4). The ride takes about 30 minutes. Exit the train at Suburban Station (despite its name, this is in the heart of Philadelphia, one block from the monumental city hall, topped with its statue of William Penn.) From Suburban Station, it is about a six block walk to the Doubletree Philadelphia Center City. The walk can be shortened slightly with a transfer to the Broad Street subway line and riding one stop south. Further details here.

Uber, Lyft, and traditional taxi are available for those who prefer. The cost of a rideshare is approximately $21-25.

by Rail

Amtrak trains arrive at Philadelphia’s splendid 30th Street Station. There is easy access to the Doubletree by subway, trolley, bus, or rideshare service. Or if you don’t have much luggage and want to see the city, just walk! Distance is about 1.4 miles.

by Car

Parking at the Doubletree is $30 per day, with in/out privileges. Some of our venues outside the hotel have VERY LIMITED or NO parking. We strongly encourage leaving your car in one place and making use of conference-provided and local transportation options.

Those looking for a more economical parking option might consider using one of SEPTA’s overnight parking lots for $1 per day and taking a train into Center City for the duration of the conference. Fort Washington Station is one location recommended by a local. More information here.
